- You may experience severe pain on the back during urination, just below the rib cage. The pain may also spread to the lower abdomen and groin.
- The intensity of the pain may vary from time to time.
- You may feel pain while urinating.
- You may feel the urge to urinate more often but when you do try to urinate, it comes in small amounts.
- The color of the urine being red, pink or brown is also a sign. The presence of blood in the urine is a strong indication of kidney stone. When the stone scratches ureter or kidney it may cause wounds that produce blood.
- Your urine may become very smelly.
- You may feel nauseous most of the time.
